The Continuing adventures of Caroline (Two Months Old Today)

We wrapped up the evening when mom pulled this toy out of her purse that Nonnie bought. They shook it, I laughed and then we went home. I love Nana and Poppy. There is talk of shopping tomorrow. I will report on that later.

Here I am trying to convince Poppy that I can make more bodily noises than he can. He isn't a believer until after mom fed me a few minutes later. Don't mess with the baby Poppy! I can get gas out of places that have stopped functioning on you!

Then Nana and Poppy arrived so I ahd to go down to the lake so they could see me. Lots of kisses from Nana, she leaves lipstick, I have asked mom to talk to her about that. Mom says I just better get used to it! I was tired of lipstick so I faked like I was asleep.

After my mornign nap mom and I went to meet Shelli and Dede for lunch. To celebrate my birthday and all. I was a little irritated, so Aunt Shelli gave me a baby massage. It was very relaxing, can you tell?

Now that I am two months old I have decided to spend some more time in my big bed. I am thinking about moving in there permanently. Right now I take naps in that bed and sleep in a little bed next to mom and dad. However, dad can really make a lot of noise at night, I hear mom telling him he sounds like a buzz saw, whatever that is. Mom is not much better, every time I let a toot slip out or drop my binki, there she is stuffing it back in my mouth. It is all getting to be too much, I just can't sleep with all that comotion. So like I said, I think next week I am going to start sleeping in my own room. I know they are going to miss me, but a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do.

Rickey came for a visit while I was watching my Baby Einstein DVD. I humored him for a minute....you know, coo coo blah blah blah...

Nonnie & Bob came to visit and brought me this toy. Mom hates it because it makes my beautiful nursery look like Chuckie Cheese. However, I need it to stimulate my brain for Lord's Sake! I really like it, anything that keeps my brain from turning to mush is great!

Nonnie sent me this precious outfit for the holiday. Mom said it was too big, but I put it on and to her surprise it fit! Silly Mommy! I am weighing in at 10lbs these days, I had to go to the Dr. yesterday and they confirmed it. Double digits on the scale! Whoopee! I do have a cold which apparently means that I have to sleep next to this noisy, wet thing. Mom shoots salt water up my nose and then sucks out part of my brain every hour. I have to take drops twice a day and I am very sleepy. Oh yeah, I only get to go swimming every other day in the tub. This cold stuff is for the birds!

Nana got me this bib, which is becoming increasingly more necassary. It is crazy...every time I eat, I yak, change my clothes, take a nap, then I eat, I yak and so on.....

I have a cold and am staying home ALL day today! Dad got me this sweet new swaddle blanket for Valentine's Day. He also got me some jewelry, they are these precious bracelets I put on my wrists that have monkey & elephant faces, they make noise too! I think he got them at Tiffany's...or Target, I can't remember.

Visitors for the Super Bowl

Aunt Carrye thought it might ne better if she held me. So we cheered the Colts to victory. Mom & Dad say Indiana is very nice, I am going to go check it out this weekend! I will let y'all know what I think!

He thought that was so nice of me he let me sit in his Spiderman chair! The size is fine, now if I could just hold my head up...

Phillip, Carrye & Luke came over for the Super Bowl. Luke was very jealous of my hippo toy so I said he could share.

First Bottle

Daddy gives me my first bottle. We both look sleepy now, but that all changes shortly. The bottle gave me a tummy ache, so I decided to loose my mind until 2 a.m. Mom got smart and gave me the bottle at lunch time on Saturday. She says if I am going to scream she prefers it be during day light hours for lord sake!

I also confused pooping in my diaper with pooping outside of my diaper. However, mom changed my clothes and all is right with the world again.
