Happy Valentine's Day!

Feel the Love!

36... My Favorite Number

36 has always been my favorite number.  Pick a number between 1 and 100, I will always pick 36.
On February 9th I turned 36.  How did that happen?  I spend the day with my favorite people.
Caroline and I went to get pedicures.

Then we met up with this guy for a little Mexican food.
They put the hat on me and sang, loudly, CEK was thrilled.
Then Saturday night we went for sushi and a movie with the Richardsons.
A nice relaxing evening with good friends and my 2 favorite foods.  Sushi and Movie popcorn.
I wrapped up the weekend with these sweet girls throwing me a surprise birthday at children's church.
Sweet Amelia planned the whole thing.
36 is looking pretty good!

Sickness!

I am SO sick of sickness!
CEK has had strep throat twice in the last 2 weeks.
Here are some random pics of my sick kid.
Caroline has become obsessed with this quilt.  It was my Nanny's quilt so that makes me very happy!
Tents are a must during any sickness.
Jello is a must with strep!
Cece is a must when she is willing to cooperate.
Daddy is a must always!

Random Things....

I haven't had a good CEK sleeping picture lately...
Precious is out like a light!
Here I think she is faking.
CEK made this crown to wear to church last week.
We normally go to early church and don't have time to make head gear.
Thank goodness!
A couple of weeks ago we thought Lucy was dying... by thought she was dying I mean we almost put her to sleep/  She hadn't eaten in a few days and was having trouble getting up and down.  We were afraid she was starving... well actually she was until Chip bought her some wet food to try before we took her to the vet.  She ate that and has eaten that ever since and she is fine!
I think this is a picture CEK must have taken...
CEK can make a mess quick!
I mean she is constantly moving from one activity to another.
I am blogging this because I want to remember how active she was as a little girl.
When she is a teenager and sleeping until 2 pm I want to look back and remember.
 Another Random
Oh my is this kid into Legos!
She makes some very cool things.
3 years ago Gari showed up with all of Chip's legos from when he was little.
I was cussing her to her face when she brought them and would now like to thank her.
It's kind of chilly in TN
When Yaya and Bob were here they get CEK some Lincoln Logs.
She does a lot of building with those too.
We are loving some Indiana basketball around here!
And I leave you with this.
CEK headed out for church....
No crown, but I think that would be a little much for this ensemble.

Bowling with YaYa and Bob

Mom and Dad came to visit a couple of weeks ago.
Caroline has requested to go bowling a few times.
What else do you do after school when your grandparents visit...
 You bowl.
 CEK was pretty excited.
She put in all the names, tested eveyone's ball and explained the rules of the game.
Bob informed her that he took bowling in college.
I don't think she believed him until Chip also announced he took a bowling class in college.
I think I graduated from Indiana University without taking a single involving Phys Ed. (And I was an education major....go figure)
This is my mother's reaction to his bowling skills and his bowling class.
My Nanny would be so proud!
She was an excellent bowler.
I will tell you who else is an excellent bowler... this guy.
(I was there, here is the picture to prove it.)
I think Yaya took advantage of CEK's "gutter guards"

Cheer 2013

So the girls went to cheer camp last week!
5 of the 7 rocked it like they were big stuff....
Missing Amelia and Audrey
The girls patiently wait for their moment to shine.
Carly Jo, Anne Claire, CEK, BAM and Mary Kate
Spartans Cheerleader... on no that's CEK
Frick and Frack trying to get in sync.
I don't think it ever happened.
 Spirit Fingers!
The look on their faces when they saw how many people cracked me up!
I was pleased I caught this toe touch.
She practiced that at home... a lot.
BAM cracked me up here.  She didn't fall over or anything, just chose to go her own way with the final pose.

Not CEK she refuses to go against the grain.

Our family photos are starting to get ridiculous.
I mean nobody is looking in the same direction and Marty didn't even take it.
