Yellow Belt with a Green Stripe

A little behind on blogging....

My girl got her green stripe on her yellow belt!

This was the first time she had to test on a Saturday with the other students.

She got her yellow stripe while rockin on stage and her yellow belt in class.

I assume so he doesn't have to flunk her.

Stretching out, I am sure doing some major mental preparations.

Fireworks

I realized that I failed to download pictures of Kenworthy family fireworks show!

That is what I get for rockin' two cameras.

After the Hunt brigade left on the 4th of July we had our own small fireworks production.

Chip was in charge, I don't do fireworks.

When we were in Indiana the firework stands had just popped up.

So CEK and Poppy stocked up on all the essentials.

We warmed up a little early in the evening with a few sparkles.

CEK was allowed to choose the placement of the BIG fireworks!

She took this job VERY seriously.

Then came the bottle rockets.

The heart of the 4th of July.

Here Chip is explaining to CEK all about bottle rockets.

It went a little something like this.. "Ahhh the bottle rocket..."

But whatever he was saying CEK was listening!

She loves a firework!

We came out later for the big dogs.

Happy 4th of July People!

Our Last Adventure

Our last adventure in Chattanooga was the Children's Museum

It was very small but very cool!

This guitar was awesome.

CEK went on a dinosaur dig.

Then did some serious scientist stuff.

CEK and OBK made a movie.

She had to help her dad with some puzzles.

Ride in this Bob the Builder thing.

We went on the roof playground for about 6.7 seconds

It about cooked us!

Then she found the do it yourself (no mess) face paint!

Anyone thinking of gifts for her for X-mas or birthday this is it!

They were like crayons but face paint. Genius!

CEK put on a tap performance

Chip ran the lights and sound

Before leaving we had a quick water war with Olivia!

And got into a huge bubble with Chip!

Then we blew that place!

Raccoon Mountain

Our campground was at the base of Raccoon Mountain.

They offer tours of the cave at the general store. This is also where you can pan for gems and buy an endless supply of crap.

After a day at the aquarium we returned to camp with hopes of swimming the evening away.

Our plans were foiled when we we discovered the pool was closed.

So we put on our hats and took ourselves a cave tour.

It was chilly in that cave ay 7:30 at night.

This is Josh our 12 year old tour guide.

Just Kidding he was 17, but close enough.

The girls thought he was fabulous.

He was a pretty good guide. We were the only ones on the tour.

Little Explorers

The girls loved this!

They actually loved this whole tour.

CEK got a raccoon out of the deal!

They loved this tour so much they demanded the dads go the next morning.

I have to say that it was my favorite too.

Olivia and Rob

The girls were so funny they gave their dads a private tour.

We had a different tour guide the next day and several people in our group.

So they hung in the back telling the dads everything Josh had told them the night before.

For the record people come and do overnight trips in this cave.
