Justin Beiber Party 2013

I am a woman that enjoys party details.  Unlike my sister (which you know if you read her blog).
The details are for me... they are my own little form of crazy.  Everything doesn't have to match but it must coordinate.  Below are the water bottle covers I printed - spelled wrong! None of the children noticed. Ha!
I can live with that.
Next we had treat bags including some nail polish (quick dry cause any other kind with a 6 year old is a waste of money) lip stick (aka bonnie bell lip smackers) a ring pop ( CEK informed me they were "convenient" becuase you don't have to hold them with you hand and they look like jewelry) and a JB compact (no explanation needed ha!)
Each girl got a scratch off ticket on the bus and one of them was the grand prize winner of JB's perfume!
You know what you do when you have 12 girls and 20 tickets and nobody wins of the first round?
You improvise and it wasn't exactly pretty but Amelia won and it was over.
 Thankfully no tears were shed..
The outfit...
 It featured 2 layers.
The first consisted of sequins, lots of them...
(Please not the cute braid in CEK's hair. Chip picked her up from school and brought her to the bus to see us off.  She hopped out of his jeep with a side pony tail that apparently she did herself.. This chiild does not care about details)
The second layer include zebra duh
We had cupcakes disguised as a cake... those tricky people at walmart!
Shelli and I hung some banners on the bus before the girls arrived.
The bus waiting on 12 little girls to arrive!
Olivia and Niki contributed to the details.
The signs - that we were not allowed to take in!  Boo
 Family picture on the bus!
This girl is pretty excited!
 The 3 amigos.
The t-shirts were courtesy of Brandy Gail and Carly Jo!
Thanks for idea!  It cut down on a lot of clothing drama.
Oh yes the moms had them too!
Then we rolled!
 We opened presents!
 Amelia won the perfume!
(Then the girls sprayed it on the bus- AWESOME!)
We brought pillows and blankets for the girls to sleep on the way home.
This allowed them to make a hobo town on the way.
 A little Mommy/CEK love!
Concert Arrival....
After a short panic attack by both Kenworthy women because of the height we got things rockin'
 Pals
We were broken up into 6 seat per group.
This was our posse.
 This was our view.
I want you to know the people on the floor could buy a car - not a really nice one or anything- with what they paid to sit down there.
 Can you see him?
 Oh there he is!
And that is right folks she fell asleep.
But she heard the songs she wanted to hear.
The first couple at the beginning and then the encore.
She will be very upset when she reads this in a a few years she is still claiming she didn't fall asleep.
The next morning she laid in all of her loot!
Thanks to all MY great friends who planned this party with me 6 months in advance.
Who bought your tickets even though some of your kids were not as big a Beiber fan as mine!
And who did not think I was crazy cause I love an over the top party.
I always say it is a good thing we only have one kid... but man do we love her!

Go Dog Go

I know that I said the next post would be Beiber but I lied...
Caroline won a chance to read to another class at Supper with Santa.
Last Wednesday was her day to do it... she rocked it I am not going to lie.
She selected one of her all time favorite books!
She also chose to read to her all time favorite friend and her class.
BAM was ready to listen.
Sweet Miss Lisa introduced Caroline and set her up for reading success!
Briley gave CEK a certificate for great reading!
There is not much Caroline likes better than an award.

So proud of our girl.
Caroline is a great reader!

Big City Livin'

Last weekend we went to the big  city.... to see some big trucks!
It was Monster Jam time in Nashville.
We hit Broadway for some honkey tonkin' before the show.
Well really just to eat but music row was loud and proud.
CEK thought she was big time!
Wearing her light up Grave Digger skull to blend in with the flashing lights of Broadway.
This year she decided to support El Toro Loco!
Duh... Who wouldn't support a crazy bull!
Holding her sign proud in hopes that she would win the best sign contest.
Uh... her luck has run out.  Out of the thousands of people at Monster Jam she was overlooked.
She assured me next year she will bring a sign from home and win!  I am sure she will.
 My kid is cultured!
We like it all from sequins to Monster trucks.
Stay on the edge of your seats...
My next post will cover 14 girls and 10 mothers attending the Justin Bieber concert.
Culture I tell ya... Culture

6 Years Old!

It is so hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that Caroline is 6 years old!
I want to watch her grow and become all that she is capable of becoming... but at the same time I wish she could be little forever!  We brought her home from the hospital on New Years Eve 2006.
Dazed parents not really sure what we were doing.
(Sometimes I am still not sure)
With this precious gift from God!
And now she is 6....
She has been stalking the birthday present Rob and Meghan left for her since Christmas.
She hit it first thing!
She enjoyed her traditional birthday blueberry muffin!
Then she brought out the 6 year old style and we headed to Paducah.
She got to pick whatever she wanted to do for her birthday...
She wanted in that ticket blaster at Chuck E. Cheese in a bad way!
She warmed up with a little ski ball.
Then it was time for the ticket blaster!
For $2.49 you too can enjoy time in the ticket blaster.
We invested in a Chuck E. Cheese cake.
Which was VERY good.
 Family Picture.
After Chuck E. Cheese we headed to the mall.
We saw on TV that Freddie from iCarly would be there...
A few other people saw that too!
Instead we decided to wave at him as opposed to waiting in line for 3 hours.
 He is really short.
 But there he is...
We saw him.
Then she jumped and flipped on this thingy at the mall...
Last but not least she got to go to Toys-R-Us to pick out her birthday present from us!
And here is what she picked.
Then is was home for a birthday sleepove with her sister-friend.
 They had cake to celebrate!
 Played some air hockey...
and some wii Just Dance 4.
Pretty girls dressed like cats.
Happy birthday to our favorite kid.
We love you!
