Girls Day Out!

Friday Mom and I had a girls day out!
We met up with Laura and Adelyn to explore downtown Paris!
We started by painting pottery!

I have improved greatly since the last time I attempted this.
I must be all the artwork I do with Nana!
Adelyn stuck with the same color scheme!
Serious artists at work!

Then we moved on to the library!
We attacked the puzzles first!

The best picture we have of the four of us!
(And it isn't great!)

Let's Eat!
On to Paulettes!
(For those of you familiar with Paris you know Paulettes has great salads/casseroles/desserts and is packed with "blue hairs" EVERYDAY. Most of them coming from volunteering or bible study or something very southern)

Adelyn and I fit in perfectly!
Until I dropped my drink and proclaimed Damn It loud enough for the "blue hairs" to hear!
Mom said really loud that Nana should stop teaching me that language!
Thanks to Laura and Adelyn for being understanding of my developing vocabulary!
The cake was good!

Cowgirl Caroline!

While I was is Terre Haute last week I got to put my cowgirl outfit and check out some real horses! Thanks to T-Lorenz for the outfit and the horses!
Do I look like the real thing or what?
We had to ride the gator on the ranch...(AKA the Lorenz house)
Holy Cow!
Look at the horses!
Come here horses...
T Lorenz introduced me to the best horse!
We got up close and personal!
Yaya liked the horses too!
Cool boots huh
Wrapping up a day of rounding up the horses!
Thanks friends!

Mini Adventures!

Nana and Poppy took me on a trip to Boot City!
If you are a reader from Terre Haute this means something to you, if not sorry!
We went for a pink hat and pink boots!
They had neither in my size.
(Now if you are from TH you know that Boot City has probably 1,000,0001 pairs of boots)
Thanks Nana and Poppy!
Somebody get my horse!

We also stopped off to visit the guys at the firehouse!
Remember these fellas got me out of a flooded house off a roof a year or so ago...
They were happy to see me!
Or Nana was just happy to show me off!
Where is the siren?
This dog is a lot better behaved than Minnie!

GIrl fun!

I love to play with Marin and Mabry when I am in TH!

BFF

Indiana usually means Mommy gets to see her BFF!
When Mommy sees Kirby....
That means I get to see Peri!
(I also got to see her cousin Lily)

On the road again...

Mom is in training this week in Indianapolis, we are living at the lake in TN (due to construction at our house) and my world is completely upside down!
So how do we fix chaos... we head to TH to be spoiled by the grandparents for the week!
It is week of freedom....
Nana and Poppy got me a new bike
(It had to be unisex so I could share with Nolan)
So it is on!
I will be spending the next week doing whatever I want... and loving it!
Feel free to keep up!

A BIG ADVENTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halloween weekend we decided to try an alternative to trick or treating!
Daddy decided we would head to French Lick Indiana for a weekend full of fun!
4 cars of Pals headed out within a couple hours of each other and the adventure began....

We started the weekend with a haunted train ride!

This is the group that made it before the train left the station!
(Minutes before the train left the station)
I don't know about "haunted", but I was excited about a train ride!
I could have done without these bats hanging around!
Then I was unsure about the spooky smoke that was all over the train!
But I loved the train ride!
I think that was the only part Callie liked!
Baby Lee was cool with all of it!
He just hung out and took it all in!
We look like a happy bunch just enjoying the afternoon train ride.
However, we were a bit freaked out by the people chasing each other down the aisles with knives!
Daddy and Nate thought the monsters were funny!
Mom and Aunt Shel liked it too!
After getting caught in the rain, their hair was scarier than the monsters!
You monsters don't scare me!
THE REST OF THE TROOPS ARRIVE!

Aunt Kris, Curt, Big Lee and Annaliese missed the train but arrived in time for an evening wrestling match!
Big Lee was excited to see me!
The girls settled in for a ring side seat for teen wrestling!
Cocktails and wrestling, it doesn't get much better!
The Dads are planning their trip to the casino!
And the match is on, Nate put on a pretty good show considering Big Lee is twice his size!
I needed in on the action!
I really just wanted all the attention from Big Lee!
Aunt Kris tried on her costume...
She is a plastic surgery patient!
Aunt Kris's Mini Me!
(Aunt Laura and Uncle Ted arrived VERY late!)
