Swimming

CEK and most of her pals are on the swim team!

They practice twice a week and get to ride the bus to the big school to get to practice.

All things CEK is down.... pals, big school and bus.

She had her first meet in Jackson and they girls were ready!

(BAM was missing due to a fun run she had to run that day in Paris)

#1 Fan was ready

Head assistant was also on deck to provide assistance

Cousin Olivia is on the swim team too!

After the meet we went to Red Robin...Yum!

When we got home with her ribbons she got all of Chip's ribbons down to compare times.

Apparently he was quite the little speedy swimmer.

He had her beat by about 10 seconds in each race.

Thanks to my mother-in-law who dumped all these ribbons at my house about 10 years ago and said I would want them someday.  CEK took the info about chips skills and put it to use at her next meet.

I don't know that she shaved 10 seconds but she was a lot faster.

 BAM attended the next meet and all was right with the world.

The Crazy 8

If you follow this blog you know that CEK has 7 best pals!

We call the the crazy 8....maybe their moms are just crazy, but we are fine with that.

The girls had their picture taken a couple of weeks ago and they are great!

We will be doing this every year until they graduate....

 Such sweet girls!

 They have so much fun together and all of their personalities are so different, but they seem to get that about each other and just flow together.  It is a beautiful thing to see at such a young age.

Halloween

It wasn't so long ago that our precious girl was just a little fish!

 A really cute little fish!

Now she is a beautiful movie star...

Well at least for Halloween.

Our girl likes anything that sparkles but also refuses to brush her hair.

I don't get it.  This year she selected the movie star costume...Reason 1 because it sparkles.

 We hit the neighborhood on a perfect Halloween evening.

We went to Holiday World...Again.

It wouldn't be the last weekend at Holiday World if the Kenworthys were not there!

So we took MAM and BAM across the Indiana line and set them loose in our happy place!
