Drive-In Movie

Friday night we hit the drive-in with the Kee family.
We couldn't have had better weather.
Just cool enough to need a blanket... nice
Lily and CEK were set to check out Cars2
Daddy was set to check out his favorite thing at the movies...
Popcorn
Garvin had the same idea
We took Nana and Poppy with us!
And there were kids everywhere!
When the truck got crowded, CEK came back to our truck for a little family love!
First Nana...
Then Mama...
Look at Nana back there taking notes on Car2
She gaining info for her next Nolan visit
Then back to Mama
Good idea Chip!

So funny...

CEK lost her hair wrap this week.
I warned her that it might fall out in her sleep.
The lovely girl who put it in said that it would stay all summer, but Mama had different thoughts.
But CEK didn't loose her cool when it fell out.
She actually didn't notice for 2 days.
However, when she did she went to her bed and found it.
Just where her smart Mama left it.
And taped it to her "little Caroline".
Genius

Father's Day

For Father's Day Chip got himself a new slide for the pool.
CEK is loving the father's day gift!
Last Sunday we spent the day doing exactly what Chip wanted to do.
He is so simple, he is never going to want to develop some wild plan to go on adventure.
I ,on the other hand, would have planned some big outing.
He wanted to hang out at the house.
He swam with his girl.

And then they cleaned up their jeeps.
She was loving this!
They are so alike.
Then they cleaned up the kid.
If I had been in charge of father's day we would have gone to the zoo, to a museum or a baseball game. I am always determined to "make memories"!
CEK is lucky her Dad makes great memories too.
Simple, but great.

Soccer Time

Little Kickers camp was last week!
CEK loves Little Kickers week!
I just like to dress her up in cute soccer clothes.
Mary Kate was her "coach" this week.
Here is Coach K
The real coach
Team Medlin arrives
This picture just tickles me...
I said "Hey Medlins"
This was the response I got from both of them
The girls were very focused on their drills this year.
Watch your teeth goalie girl

Serious Faces
Some pointers from Coach K again before the big game
Ready to play
Game on
Water break with Daddy
Then score...
BAM scored a goal too!

It was a great week at soccer

Callie's Surprise Party!

CEK and I attended a surprise party for Callie last week!

It might have been a surprise that there was a 4 year old at her 13th birthday party.

If it was Callie rolled with it and loved her luau.

She even rolled with her mother (Shelli) and I doing the electic slide.

CEK did not roll so well.

She informed me that I was embarassing her.

Awesome!

I took this picture with my phone and can't figure out how to turn it!
My girl thinking she is super cool with these big girls!
Dede's daughter Kelly is in the middle.
When I moved to Paris Kelly and Callie were 2!
I am old.

VBS

CEK and I rocked vacation bible school this week!
Can't you tell how excited she was to be there.
I think she really just didn't want her picture taken.
Please note that she wore this t-shirt EVERYDAY!!!!!
She loved VBS again this year.
We took BAM with us.
2 seconds after this photo was taken BAM informed me that VBS was wearing her out!
Snarf Snarf
I don't know is more dramatic...
Cousin Olivia was feeling the lord this week too!
Several people were feeling the lord this week.
My group had 41 K-1 kids.
No matter how many helpers you have 41 kids moving from room to room is rough!
It was a great week at VBS

Clifford the Big Red Dog

I remember Clifford coming to my school when I was in first grade.
When I saw that Clifford would be making a stop in Paris I was excited to take CEK.
She is still a Clifford fan because Good Luck Charlie isn't on at 6:30 a.m.
She has even collected a few stuffed Cliffords.
The library provided this community event.
I love our small town "events".
I also love our librarian.
Here is CEK posing for Miss Connie (our librarian)
They are tight.
You can always count on running into friends at our "events".
Carter and Sadie were ready to meet Clifford.
(Carter more than Sadie)
Oliver is a Clifford fan too!
Adelyn came all the way from KY to see Clifford.
(She really came all the way to see her grandparents.
I think Clifford was a bonus.)
We followed Clifford in a parade around the square.
CEK was quick to inform me that this was NOT Clifford.
Miss Connie gave CEK a book.
We met the big red dog and called it a night.
It was hot.
