We went home this weekend....

We packed lots of quality time into the trip.

Turning 5 wrapped up with a new playlet for the kid!

It was waiting for our girl when she got home!

And she LOVES it!

Chip loves it too!

Thanks to the grandparents who invested in this gift with us!

Without them she would not have this happy face!

Birthday Party Fun!

Caroline celebrated with some of her pals last weekend.

All the grandparents and even Nolan arrived for her Arts and Crafts party.

We invited 12 little girls under the age of 6 and 4 over the age of 9 to help keep them busy!

We were ready to celebrate with crafts and art.

Cake and presents and piñatas.

Like I said before my girl only turns 5 once (it just may take the whole month to celebrate)

We had finger painting wall...

And you gotta have a shirt stating your 5!

So you can get paint all over it....

Sister Friend assisted in present opening!

On to piñata...

After 12 little girls and 1 little boy took a swing it took one Mama to knock it down!

And then the mayhem over 14 cents worth of candy began!

We sang to my girl!

She blew out her candles.

And we wrapped up with a family photo!

The weather called for Jeeping!

Last weekend was beautiful!

So we took full advantage of the weather and took the jeep to Turkey Bay.

Cee Cee went along for the ride!

But when it was time to hit the trails she stayed back in the car.

Caroline and Chip ready to do some damage or get really muddy at the very least.

We went with the Richardson family.

Oliver and Lewis were ready!

But it was CEK who plotted our trip.

She started in the front but after the first very large hill she decided she wanted to ride in the back with me. So we let Chip drive us around like the queens we are!

They were very brave!

But this is how we felt when we had gone a few minutes before.

After thinking we were going to have to swim out we stopped for a snack!

The Crane Game

Caroline is the luckiest child on the planet or a master crane player!

She demands to play every time we see this game.

I used to say "you never win that game it is junk and a waste of money"

Then she proved me wrong! Over and Over and Over....

We stopped at Kroger to pick up a couple of groceries and the crane game called her name.

Of course, she rocked it!

Our Girl is 5!

After CEK went to bed on the eve of her birthday

I turned her room into a birthday party!

My girl loves a balloon!

You only turn 5 once!

Attach a couple balloons to a couple of presents and you have....

One happy girl in the morning!

I happened to glance at the clock at the minute our lives changed 5 years ago.

Then we took off for some adventures..

Which included lunch with Callie.

I have a hilarious picture of Caroline wearing this hat.

However, when she saw it she cried and said that it was not funny!

So I decided to pass on publishing it.

However, she did not veto the above picture.
