Randoms

I usually like to have a post all about something... this one is all about nothing.
CEK can get Nana and Poppy to do anything.
Since the new swing set arrived she is all about them swinging with her.
Here she got Nana on the tire swing at the park.
This was taken moments after she informed Poppy he was swinging to high.
He was messing up her rhythm... and he stopped. God forbid we mess up CEK's rhythm.
At Dad's dock CEK likes to play laser tag.
I love to watch her play she is so serious.
Here she is in the wind tunnel machine.
This picture needs no words
Chip is the assistant coach of CEK's softball team.
They are having lots of fun together.
(I am sure this will require several posts in the future)
I picked up Marty Anne and she had on these bad boys.
I believe Jane had a pair exactly like them when I was about 9.
We ran into a store on the square and I think the girls did more shopping then we did.
Their taste in shoes is a little different than ours.
MAM and I would NEVER wear shoes with heels like these.
Hilarious!

St. Joseph Brunch

Caroline was very excited about the St. Joseph Brunch at school...
Not only would her dad be there for her to show off and I would be there to serve them both, but god aligned the stars that day and she was also the leader!!
She selected flag duty and took it very seriously.
She waved that flag like she was the leader of the free world!
Thank goodness she wants to stay away from the presidency and stick with teaching.
We can thank Miss Angie for that!
Please note that I have a teaching degree and her Aunt Bee and Yaya are also teachers...
but Miss Angie has inspired her to challenge little minds.
Or possibly pick a profession where she has complete control...you decide.
All the Dads gathered around listening to a fine performance of a preschool love song!
Then fine dining was the next thing on the agenda.
But the best part was how all the kids took their dads around the room forcing them to do things on a tinier scale...
they read books..
they played doll house
and created with playdoh
But mostly they shared a special memory...
Great morning for my two favorite people.

Safari Park

We got to spend St. Patrick's day with 2 of my favorite people!
We hit the TN safari park and it made for an interesting day.
I haven't laughed that hard in awhile...
These two make me happy!
I consider Shelli one of the best mothers I have ever met. We laughed for years about her parenting tactics... (which included teaching her daughter, to ride a bike by knocking her off of it to prove it won't hurt) When my sweet, hard headed CEK came along she was literally unable to give me any parenting advice. She would just giggle at me and wish me luck. Her mild mannered daughter (an all around awesome kid) gave her none of the challenges CEK was giving me daily....
and then came Lee Perry. Snarf Snarf... he is the male version of CEK!

It is a pleasure to try to give "the master" advice on parenting. Something I never thought would happen.

We started the day at the petting zoo!

My favorite animal met us at the car...
Mama loves a peacock!
These two led us around by our noses.
They loved the monkeys!
Speaking of love I had to document this love exchange...
That male peacock was really showing off his goods!
...more monkeys!
They fed the goats...please note that neither of these children needed assistance.
Enough of the pictures...
Let the safari begin.
This is what came at us the minute we turned into the park.
Please note the large bucket of feed in the window...
that was on the floor of my car before the ride was over.
This is one happy safari boy, please note we haven't met any animals yet...
but we are about too!
Holy Jurassic Park!
This is pretty close.
I mean I was totally freaked out.
But nothing like Shelli and Lee.
This picture is priceless.
And I will leave you with the bird heading our way!

Three Princesses!

Cinderella, Snow White and Belle made a stop in Murray last weekend.
My number one princess was pumped for the production!
And who better to go with us...
The other princesses in her life!
BAM, AC and CEK featuring Ariel, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White
The show was precious!
When the real thing hit the stage my girl was glued to the performance and her over priced snow cone!
MAM and BAM
BAM wearing her over priced snow cone in her lap.
She didn't even care she loved the show so much.
The ratio of 2 - 30 something women to 3 - 5 year old princesses was rough.
AC's mom was out of town....3 5 year old girls go to the bathroom A LOT!
But a good time was had by all!
When the princesses waved good bye these 3 hit their sugar high!
It was an interesting ride home!

A Visit from Baby Theo

We got a surprise visit from Theo and Laura last week.
I think Theo was the only one surprised since Laura called and said she was coming.
I don't know if he was happy to be there... but CEK was excited to have him!
Sweet second cousins twice removed.
(I don't know if that is right but it sounds good)
Theo liked Disney Channel!
I believe he was watching Shake It Up...

Indiana Bound

We have been burning up the road the last couple months with trips to Indiana.
Last weekend Chip and CEK had plans to hit the Monster Jam in Indianapolis.
The big dogs do not go with us, but now that we have joined the rest of the Kenworthys in the small dog club, Cee Cee rolls with us.
I mean who would want to be left out of this dog pile!
Not Cee See
Caroline and Bob wore their matching IU gear.
Before we left for Indy we hit the farmers market.
Don't CEK and I look like farmers?
She thought this thing was awesome and everyone had to have their pictures taken in it!
I wil spare you the 27 combinations of people..
Caroline and Yaya check to see if combined they are 200 lbs of crazy...
I won't tell you if they were or not as I value my life.
Funny they all got cookies AFTER they weighed.
Caroline loves to go to Baeslers in TH.
For 2 reasons...
You can squeeze your own OJ
And you can make your own peanut butter.
After those crazy adventures we hit the road to Indy
I got to kiss these 2 angels for a minute before going to see my brother and sister.
I don't have any idea which one is Ava... but the other one is Grace.
My mother-in-law tried to get Chip to take a camera to Monster Jam... yeah right.
So I requested a few photos via phone.
This is what I got...

That is why I go with them places.
So I can take photographic evidence of all our adventures.
I went to visit my brother and Meghan before they went to the law school prom aka the Barristers Ball.
I am by far the best looking of this group!
Maybe not the best dressed...
The next morning CEK woke up devastated that she had fallen asleep next to Nolan in the car and woke in TH without him. So Nana agreed to cheat on Nolan with Caroline and his monster trucks. This kind of made her happy....
kind of.
This made her real happy... a stop at the E'ville mall to build-a-bear. Or a bunny.
After cashing in a gift certificate from Nolan for Christmas & 20 bucks from Yaya and Bob I still managed to loose $15 to this money pit!
But my girl was happy.... Another great trip home!
