Holiday World.... Again!

To return Nolan to his family we decided to meet in Holiday World!
So we loaded up the truck and new camper (we sold the RV to someone who needed more room than we did) and headed to Santa Claus IN.... Again.
Chip and Nolan got everything loaded up.
Once the camper was in place and up the children were happy to pose for me!
It requires a little more "elbow grease" by Chip to get is up than the RV did.... but he didn't complain.
He just poured sweat!
Nolan was sweating while eating ice cream!
The girls arrived and the Kenworthy kids were ready to rock Holiday World.
Nana and 2 of her precious kiddos!
I am 97% sure this is Ava.
The big kids mined for gems.
It is a dirty process.
The next morning the kids posed with the big Santa.
CEK was anxious to help with the girls!
Just looking at this stroller makes me tired.  My sister-in-law is a saint!
Here we are for required pose.
Kids only.
This picture pretty much sums up how the day went...
Gracie rode while Ava watched.  Everything!
Nana rode this stomach dropper thing with Nolan.
While Jess and CEK took on the Raven.
Nana and CEK
Here are all the kids cooling off... including the big one.
While Ava watched.
Poppy arrived to spend the day with the grand babies!
CEK and Nolan were so excited to take Poppy on the Raging Rapids.
They tricked him by telling him it was a roller coaster.
I think the wet boat they had to get into gave it away.
While Ava watched.

CEK schooling Nolan on the art of throwing away money!
Just kidding... sort of, this was a game that everyone got a prize.
Jessica loading kids, while Ava watched.
Nana and Poppy with their grand babies!
After a fun filled day at the park we retired to the camp ground...
S'mores are a must!
Happy Girl!
Passed out!
Such a fun trip!

Nolan James

CEK and I came home from camp Sunday.  I was hoping she might take a nap. Negative.
I thought she might want to rest before this guy arrived.
Chip went to get Nolan Sunday.  He unpacked quickly.
Nolan added his trophy to Caroline's trophies.
We were pretty pumped for a fun week.
This is bible school week at First United Methodist.
So on top of the redneck we are giving Nolan this week...we got him a little Jesus too.
Name tags on...."let's do this" a direct quote from Nolan.
I helped with crafts this year.
2 things were great about this... CEK's kindergarten teacher was in charge of crafts.  This meant complete organization and I just had to show up.  It was air conditioned.  Last year I was in games.... HOT!
I will do crafts again next year thank you.
 The Kenworthy cousins
 Ahhh the rednecking begins...
We got Nolan a new fishing pole for his birthday which led to underwear fishing in the pool.
Little Kickers soccer camp is this week.
These are my two favorite Little Kickers!
 Ready for action!
 Nolan in action...
 A little four-wheeling!
Nolan and I had an ice cream in your jammies date.
Chip got the kids donuts... lots of them.
 We swam a lot.
Love this picture of my family.
These two have been big buddies all week.
Chip has pretty much let this kid do whatever he wants....
Our friend Hannah was Nolan's soccer coach at Little Kickers.
She fell in love!  It's kind of hard not to love this kid.
However this is our favorite guy.
Caroline has been coming to Little Kickers since she was 2.
Coach K has been awesome every year.  This is her last year at Little Kickers!
Back to the redneck stuff... snacks on a trailer.
CEK drew all the letters of the alphabet and decorated them.
Then she and Nolan set up a stand for people to come buy the letters.
They were raising money for charity project at bible school.
After a few phone calls they had some customers!
I don't know who is more tired after this week... us or them.
Today we will pack up and head to Holiday World to meet Nolan's family and Nana and Poppy!
We have loved having Nolan this week.
Such a precious child!

We went to camp!

Caroline and I packed up and went to camp for 24 hours.
We went with 7 of the Crazy 8 (Mary Kate had to be in her Uncle's wedding - she is excused - this time)
This might be an excessive amount of stuff for 24 hours.
The girls were ready for their adventures!
 The first adventure was swimming.
Lakeshore has a pretty awesome pool complete with water slide and lazy river.
Here are 2 of my favorite girls being wrestled by my favorite lady.
MAM is currently yelling "Hurry look at Miss Katie before I get run over by these other tubes....BAM now.... hurry"
There are my people standing in the pool.
Every mother went down the slide... just for the record.
 Love this kid!
There was lots of stuff to do at camp.
A favorite was canteen time... over priced snacks? Yes Please.
Then the was "rec" which involved about 20 different kinds of tag.
It was hot!
After dinner we went "creek stomping"
 Not my favorite activity
 But the girls LOVED it.
We did some learning about God.
6 year old interpretation of the creation story.
 Bed time was interesting
Sunday morning our cabin was responsible for breakfast set up!
 CEK said the breakfast blessing.
It was precious.
We did some art and crafts
Ate some more over priced snacks!
Overall we had the best time!
I love this kid, her friends and my friends.
We are so blessed to be with these girls and women.
I couldn't ask for my kid to have better friends. I am so lucky to be parenting with such wonderful role models.
A wonderful weekend.
We missed you Katherine and Mary Kate!
