We headed North for Fall Break!
We picked up Nolan in Indy and headed over to Cincinnati to the Great Wolf Lodge.
These two are the coolest kids I know. Nolan informed us that his parents like him to
eat healthy - so he needed to eat lunch at Subway. When Chip inquired what he got that was healthy at Subway he informed us a turkey sandwich, cheetos and chocolate milk. He knew that the cheetos and chocolate milk weren't healthy - that was the first of many hilarious things Nolan told us over the next 48 hours.
After our lunch stop we decided to let the kids pick out some new costumes.
Great Wolf Lodge had trick-or-treating in the evenings and a monster mash so we thought we would rock some new costumes. Nolan informed us this was probably the best store he had ever been in.
We arrived at Great Wolf with 2 kids who were ready to tear it up!
We investigated the MagiQuest.
And the arcade.
Holy Crane Game!
This kid was in heaven.
Then the kids went trick-or-treating.
It took four minutes. HA!
Each night there is a story at the clock tower in the lobby.
It is not meant to be creepy - but it is. Ha!
These two kiddos were so good this whole trip.
They waited patiently for the breakfast buffet to open!
It was here that Nolan discovered the breakfast chicken nugget!
Not so healthy but it made for one happy litttle Nolan!
That morning we hit the indoor water park!
The kids loved it - Nolan has been here several times and was good to show us all around!
After the water park Nolan and Chip took a nap!
CEK and I hit the kids spa...
It was super cute!
Then we picked up Nolan from the room and headed down to the arts & crafts room.
Both kids colored a bag that held all the "crap" we collected over the 48 hours we were there!
They had mini bowling.
Well not so mini to the kids
Just mini to us!
It didn't even require bowling shoes!
Trouble!
Shortly after we bowled some other friends arrived!
We were surprised to find out a week earlier that Kirby, Grant, Todd and Jill would all be there with their kids! Just in time for the Monster Mash!
Half of the costumes have already been lost.
But the dancing has just begun!
Peri wore a cat suit. Shocker.
But cat or no cat Cek was thrilled to see her!
Again these two were tired.
So they left the dancing and partying to us.
Two of my old pals!
Jill being my old college pal and Kirby being my oldest pal ever!

Phoebe would not get close to this character whose name I forgot but all the other kids were down!
