Father's Day Weekend

So for father's day weekend we headed to St. Louis to celebrate my favorite fathers!
(Joe was in TN watching our puppies but he is one of my favorite father too)
We landed in St. Louis and hit a Cardinals game.
It was HOT!!!! I don't know if being so hot with a 5 year or a 33 year pregnant Betsy is worse....
Both of them spent much of their time in the air conditioned bar beneath our seats.
These 3 in their St. Louis caps braved to heat most of the time!
I was determined not to go in to the cool for fear I would not come out!
SO I sweat with my favorite father who did his best 50 Cent impression with his cap and glasses.
Family photo.
Did I mention it was hot?
There was a Build-a Bear at the stadium.
Yes that is right CEKwas in heaven and Yaya got to go stand in the air conditioning while "building a bear" so everyone was happy!
Here is the one photo I have of these two as it is one of the 34 second windows Betsy was outside!
Trinity is my favorite father to be these days...
My dad the ultimate sport!
Everyone bitching about the heat and he still happy as a clam!
But the best was his gift!
I have mentioned before that we call my dad iBob.
He loves all things mac so when Chip found this box on some website he ordered it.  We put Bob's real gift in it but managed to confuse everyone about what an actual iArm would be.  You have to enlarge picture to see it's many uses.
Pretty funny once he realized it wasn't a real thing he would have to train Jane to use.
Inside the box were his real gifts.
I interviewed CEK about her father and grandfathers as a little gift to them...
Some of her hilarious answers were:
Chip:
He weighs 638 lbs. and
She likes to bungee jump with him
Bob:
He weighs 600 lbs and
His favorite thing to do is take naps
Poppy:
He is 100 years old weighs 6 lbs
He is really good at telling the dogs to be quiet!
The rest of her answers were sweet and loving about how much she loves the fathers in her life!
We ate dinner at 5 Guys and this was the hilarious picture I got of our family!
Then we ate some yogurt.
Did I mention it was hot?
The next day we headed to Grant's Farm...
These two are a mess!
Meghan joined us afar the game for some family fun time!
Look how fun we are!
All crammed on a tram to tour the farm.
CEK took some fabulous pictures.
I will spare you all 50 that look similar to this!
When you get off the tram you walk right up to the baby goat and the milk house!
For $1 you can be attacked by baby goats!
Chip felt sorry for all the goats as they tried to kill each other to get milk.
Goats are CRAZY!
Speaking of crazy...
Here is Yaya inside of the goat pen with my 5 year old trying to snap a photo.
I am glad my kid came out without a hoof print on her forehead!
Then we moved on to enjoy an animal show.
Family photo at the animal show!
A girl and her Dad explore the elephants on father's day!
A girl and her Bob explore a snow cone while waiting for the elephant show to start!
CEK and her Bee just explore!
Bee was hot!
Thanks for a great weekend Bob!
Happy Fathers day!

Little Kickers

I realized sitting at the soccer field that this is our 4th year at Little Kickers soccer camp!
(My kid is only 5 - she should be playing like David Beckham after 4 years)
Although she didn't play like that tattooed Brit - she did play well this year!
It was really funny because apparently she decided to be goalie.
(Please note that there was not a goalie at the other end - however the other team only got one goal past her all week.  Maybe my girl has found her calling)
I have no idea what these two are pondering but their pose tickled me.
CEK rocking her Indiana soccer shirt from BOB!
 Team Frick and Frack!
On the last night the girls always get popsicles.
They used to get medals and pictures too.
Since Little Kickers is a fund raiser for the high school girls soccer team I am going to cut them some slack in the being cheap dept.
 This is Coach K
His voice is more monotone then Shelli's Daddy.
He also taught CEK to swim - she is pretty sure he is a rock star.
CEK and BAM with Coach K and their coaches for the week!
Next year will be Caroline's last year for little kickers.
I will be sad - hopefully she will have moves like Beckham.

Bible School!

Look who went to Bible School this week!

It was BIG fun!

BAM and the Boat

Since the boat was already warmed up from the family being here, we decided to take the girls out after they left.  We headed to the lake in the Jeep.
On the way it was cool.... on the way home they were a little over it.
 Matching lifejackets a must!
Lunch on the boat another must!
Briley was having so much fun she didn't even as for a snack once we got tubing!
Girls checking out the lake water!
Briley is still not so sure she will be participating in tubing.
However, I took a ride with them the first time.  Chip just drove the boat and laughed until he cried.
It was a rough ride to say the least!  The girls kept giving the thumbs up for faster and I kept shaking my head thinking if you go faster I'm putting a potato in your tailpipe when we get home!
So after little convincing the girls left me on the boat and took off on their own!
Please note that they aren't even wet after several trips!
 Laid back enjoying the ride!
Cool off with a little swim and it is time to head home!
BAM informed me on the way home that the boat is awesome.
Thanks Poppy!

A softball season finale!

CEK and BAM at their last softball game.
They were over it.  They were hot, tired and they wanted a snack...
On the whole it was a great season.
Caroline receives her trophy - first of course!
They got bobble head trophies.  Literally the heads bobbled.
BAM got her bobble head!
MAM took a halfway decent picture and we wrap this season up!

First Sleepover

CEK had her first sleepover at BAM's house last weekend!
She has stayed with grandparents and even Aunt Bee but never with a pal!
Did you doubt that it would be her sister friend?
 Packed and ready to go!
She even has her cup for in the morning.
They were all smiles when I dropped her off and....
All smiles when i picked her up!
(Minus a full on meltdown at my arrival)
Memories.....

Nolan and his Crew

Nolan was here last week and the kids had a blast!!!
He brought his babies and his Mom and Dad this time - That is what I heard him tell the swim coach.
We did a little bit of everything last week so I just have random pictures.
Nolan and his babies and his Mom and Dad stayed at the lake with Nana and Poppy.
We had Mimi as a houseguest.  Caroline ran her around showing her all her "stuff"
In the photo above CEK has dressed in her dance recital costume to give Mimi a personal viewing of her recital DVD.  Poor Mimi that was a rough 3 hours....
Nolan and CEK celebrated Mary Kate's birthday with a water slide
 and a picnic.
He left his babies and his Mom and Dad at home.
Then they came home and washed the jeep.
And had a sleepover.
 I think they were tired!
 But up bright and early!
I let them dress themselves to go get donuts.
Nolan went with the monster truck theme and CEK went formal with a hint of charity.
We went to the lake and hung out with the babies.
I am 75% sure this is Grace.
One day the kids hung out with Chip.
Taking Jeep rides...
 Buying RC cars...
 setting up RC car racetracks...
That night they decided that they wanted to earn some money for something "as seen on tv"
They cleaned our floors for about 30 minutes.

The next day we headed to the lake...

 Captain One and Captain Two!
 Nolan was hilarious!
Uncle Chip likes to drive things...
Jeeps, Trucks, 4-Wheelers, Boats and RC Cars... and Nolan got himself a little bit of all of it this week!
 Twins on a boat!
Our Girl is seriously digging the boat this year!
The babies liked the boat too!
Nolan and his babies and his Mom and Dad left on Saturday.
But they came to watch CEK play ball before they left!
 Pals!
Thanks for coming Nolan and his babies and his Mom and Dad!
It was a fun week!
