Nonnie & Bob are Here!

WHen Nonnie and Bob got here the partying began. We started off slow with book, you know, ease into the fun.

Next things got a little crazier. I put on the pink hat from Mexico and that got a good chuckle out of the crowd. Nonnie and Bob are easy to make laugh.

Apparently I laugh pretty easily too...check out the evidence.

The party really got going when Nonnie brought in this big box. I can party in here for hours. Daddy said I could just stay in here all night.

Holy Cow the box had something in it. This is something to get excited about. Check out my fancy new chair!

Big Girl Chair

Nonnie and Bob brought me this big girl chair. At first I didn't know what to think about it.

After a few minutes I figured out that this chair was for relaxin'. So I laid back and got comfortable.

Then I got excited again, I can bounce on this chair. Here Nonnie is encouraging me to sit down in the chair instead of bouncing.

Here I am showing Nonnie and Bob how much I love my new chair! I stood up and shouted at the top of my lungs!

I am going to be good I promise. I will sit here and be a good girl.....for a second.

Mommy's Little Helper

After walking around the house for a couple of hours I was ready to take my bath. I like to help Mommy get things together for bath time. Actually, I like to help Mommy do everything. She says I am not always as helpful as I am destructive, but I don't know what that word means so I am going to stick with helpful...

Freedom

As some of you have seen in previous posts, I am now a walker. Much to the dismay of my parents. I am big on doing laps that start in the family room through the kitchen to the laundry room to the bathroom. Sometimes it ends in mom and dad's bedroom and sometimes it ends in their closet. Either way it is rough on the parents. Mom spends most of the evening chasing behind me making sure I don't do some kind of damage to myself. Sometimes she is successful, sometimes not so much.

Note from the Author...

Last Saturday we had family photos taken. I worked the camera and it paid off. You can check out my session at www.kathymccloy.typepad.com

Kathy went to high school with mom and dad, she did an awesome job. She also knows several verses to The Wheels on the Bus. If you ever need a photographer check out her website, her calendar is posted. The chances that she will be near you are VERY high. She is always on the go, plus she takes either her husband or two year old son Cooper with her. Sometimes both.

No Cutlery Needed

I am not sure why me eating brownies was so funny to everyone. I mean they ate brownies and I didn't laugh. Brownies are good.

Happy Birthday to Daddy!

Minnie and I are very excited to sing happy birthday to Daddy. We are also excited about the brownies.

Get to blowing Pops. The faster you blow, the faster we eat brownies.

Here I am helping Dad open his presents. Like I said I am VERY helpful.

We wrapped up the evening with me showing off my dance moves, Dad got a card that sings to you. When I hear the music I just have to dance.

Living Room Bowling

Nana is getting in her bowling groove while we Wiied. We love to Wii Bowl.

Here daddy is explaining to Poppy how to bowl. Does daddy look older? He is 32 today you know.

Poppy is really getting into bowling.

My turn please. I have waited very patiently.

Holiday Cheer

After I got cleaned up from making brownies for daddy's birthday, we decided to decorate the tree. Nana brought us a little tree because mom and dad say our tree is TOO big. They are afraid I will either climb up the side of it or get trapped under it when I pull it over. They know me so well.

After all the lights were on I put on the ornaments I got from Nana and Nonnie. They proclaim that it is "baby's first christmas". They are shiny and I like them.

Tadaa. Here is my tree.

Baking Brownies for Daddy

Mom and I decided to make Dad some brownies for his birthday. I was a huge help... we started by stirring the batter together. I was supposed to stir with a spoon, I decided to use my hand.

Then I decided I wanted to know what batter tastes like. Mom was very surprised by this, Nana almost peed her pants.

Is is a problem I wanted to taste this much?

If tastes pretty good. Sorry about the mess!

Bust a Move

After much encouragement from these two dancing fluff things that Mimi brought me I decided to share my dance skills with the world. It took several takes to get just the right moves on film, but mom finally got it done. It was fun to watch Nana and Daddy dance over and over again though.

Half of the family gathered together. Daddy kept saying Poppy say the blessing, the blessing!

Surprise from Aunt Cinda!

I came home from Miss Roxanne's house today to find a surprise I have been waiting for since I was born! Aunt Cinda, in Indianapolis, has been working on a scrapbook remembering Mommy's entire pregnancy! It has pictures of me that just looks like bones. Mommy was really fat when she went to the hospital with me! But my book is beautiful! Thank you Aunt Cinda!

Gosh a lot of work goes into having a baby! You have to pray, then have parties and then go to the hospital! I am totally worth it though, now I have a book to prove it!

Let me Tell you 'bout my Best Friend

As most of you know I am a very popular baby, between play groups and Miss Roxanne I have lots of pals. But Minnie is my BESY FRIEND! She lets me use her to pull up on, she brings me my toys and she even cleans my face for me after I eat. How can I not share my Happy Meal with her. Sorry Lucy try paying attention to me once in a while...

This is my hero, Olivia. Easy to see why don't you think? I mean she has magic light up wings and a wand that you sing into, duh!

Nice to finally meet you Uncle David,Mat, Lee and Nate have told me so much about you!

Uncle Robbie's House

Uncle Rob K has cool toys like these fish...I felt like I was deep sea diving!

Hanging with Olivia.

If I were at Nonnies's house she would have cut this string off for fear that I would choke myself for Lord's Sake!

What? You don't want me to do what she is doing? I can you know!

I am ready for lessons Uncle Rob! I might be a musical genius!

Good Catholic Girl

I don't know if ya'll can tell what I am doing here, but I located my baptismal gift from Uncle Todd and Aunt Jessica, my first rosary! So I am doing what all good Catholic girls should do, wear it as a necklace!
