The Final Days of First Grade

So they wrapped up 2013/2014 school year by changing mascot!

Before CEK was a Rhea Rocket now she is a Bulldog!  OK then.

The kids celebrated Field Day/ Awards Day and Reading Celebration all together!

CEK and MK are sad to be separated in 2nd grade!

Awards Day was great and lasted 15 Minutes!

Then it was on to Field Day activities!

Which included games and a picnic.

Good Times

This was the best event of the day... tug of war!

I remember Tug of War from my own field day...

Mr. Carty's class (me) took down Mr. Tanoos.  It was EPIC!

Then they played some game where they ran around and pulled the scarves out of each others pants.

I am not going to lie.... My girl did not last too long!

Random Catch-up Pics

These are just randoms of the last few weeks when I have NOT been blogging!

We went to a wedding and the 3 were so stinking cute!

There was LOTS of dancing!

 Yaya and Bob came to see our girl play in a softball tournament.

Before they left we went to LBL for a walk about.

We are getting a new dog...

By we, I mean Chip. 

The cage required for the new puppy is also big enough to hold 3 seven year old girls!

Fish Fry 2014

So where have I been... I have no explanation.

Just get ready of lots of posts!

CEK and I tackled the Fish Fry parade this year.  Let me say that she was VERY disappointed that she was not IN the Fish Fry Parade.  We have been trying to figure out some was to get her in that parade without being in a pageant.....

 We took CJ with us cause her mama was walking in it with her brother.

We sat with the Grooms family and I did not get one picture with them! Lame!

 However we did manage to consume pizza at 930 in the morning!

 Then she saw it and said "that is how I am going to get in the parade"

Yes sister that is correct!  That clown is our ticket... we will see you next year!

We also went to the carnival...

 And got photo bombed! Snarf

 CEK is now big enough to ride by herself and this my friends is a beautiful thing!

 So ride they did...

 EVERYTHING!

Unfortunately CJ is not big enough to ride everything and so I had to ride the ferris wheel.

 Let me inform you that I am terrified of heights.

I got this fear from Bob and I am glad that so far.... I have not given it to CEK.

But how could I tell this sweet face that she could not ride.

So I got on that ferris wheel.... and nearly had a heart attack!

My worst fear and I almost let my baby get on this by herself!

I won't do that again...but neither will CEK!

Another Fish Fry in the record books!
